Solo gemini, the musical project of Rotterdam based audiovisual artist Michal Ratajczak, returns with a fresh new breed of samples, sounds and narrated looped stories. Alike his visual art, audio cut-outs, sound collages and musical paintings of a versatile variety of sources, re-create new worlds for us to jump into and spiritually approach these proposed utopias.

"Short-term solutions" projects an era when trip hop, dubby sound fx, drum breaks, unsynchronized rhythms and funky bizarre samples were all elements of the same strange dish, like a tripped out sonic film, abducting the listener into a smooth and surprising voyage into fruitful sceneries of the North Sea and the Caribbean, or the foggy dutch coffee shops and the tropical Americas, with a Mr Scruff(ish) tint of sound palette sequencing!
