"grows in the mind"

Inner Sound was one of the very first creative individuals
that we met at the beginning, when our Nekubi tapes voyage was about to begin.

We soon realised that it was the same guy behind the Misled Navigator moniker and also founder of one of the most prolific tape labels going by the name of Outward Records.

Since then, our friendship grew through the internet, exchanging ideas and discussing topics that helped us both evolve in a creative context. It was a matter of time for our private press imprint to publish a full length project by the Brooklyn based producer and we are really thankful that the time finally came.

When 'Grows In The Mind' hit the mail, we couldn't expect anything less from a guy that curates forward thinking music, designs exceptional graphics and sculptures unique soundscapes in various experimental music fields.

Solid beats, tight production skills with gentle organic doses of Jazz syncopations, looped in ecstatic variations that leads you to an evolutionary ritual process...from the dark modal corners of Hades,
to the bright etheric Olympian heights of sound spirituality and beyond.

mike flips. Oh mike flips. You do compose a perfect mixture of break beat chaos with melodical grind bass. This is both relaxing and groovin' at the same time. Harks back to the 90s sample scene, yet has a new vibrant feel. I got the tape version as well, just to feel closer to the sounds. Rich H

Was going to buy the BLESS Vol.1 but comparing it to BLESS Vol.2 , Vol.2 was better but both very similar. Had more tracks that were blend of genres if that is what you are looking for. Including adding a 10+ minutes of extra play time. Overall really worth the purchase with awesome tracks that is much worth getting than other tracks made by different artist. This is a whole bunch of albums combined in 2 big albums and I will guarantee that you will like at least 1/3 of the album if not more! Zhang
