Our Halloween special, hexen,
is an occult beats tape by Scares from Austin, Texas.
Having previously released projects on various labels like Outward Records, Unanimous arts, Afterlife etc., Scares returns with his "diary of a mad scientist".

The main title of the album is based on witchcraft
but from the perspective of a mad scientist constructing beats, the album represents "the book of spells" that have been constructed by someone gone insane after trying to crack the code/the spell while unknowingly creating magic. New magic.

Homage to black & white sci-fi cinema, hexen is the result of unorthodox lab experiments (in this case with raw sounds) and the whole process that has been written down and documented in a "diary of a mad scientist".
